How it Works
1.) Choose which side you are representing: Team Northside or Team Southside.
2.) From the thousands of participants, the average time from the first 1,000 finishers from each team will be calculated. The team with the fastest overall average time will be declared the winner.
3.) If you don’t plan on finishing in the top 1,000 for your team, don’t think you’re off the hook: Your team needs you to represent!
Please note: The Crosstown Classic 10K is open to all participant levels.

TIME & LOCATION
Start Time: 8:00am
Start Location: Grant Park
Entry into the Crosstown Classic 10K will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Registration will close once the race capacity is reached.
All participants will receive a gender specific dri-tech Team Northside or Team Southside race shirt, team specific bib number, and a one-of-a-kind reversible finisher medal with their entry.
Please note: Your gender specific dri-tech race shirt and bib number identifies which team you are representing. All participants are required to wear their team specific race shirt and bib number on race day.

All participants are required to pick up their Goodie Bag at Packet Pick-Up. Race day Packet Pick-Up will not be available. A third party may pick up your Goodie Bag with a copy of your photo ID.
AGE GROUP DIVISIONS
14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over.
The Crosstown Classic 10K will feature the B-Tag ChronoTrack timing system.
The Crosstown Classic 10K is a team event. All participants will receive a finisher medal when they cross the finish line.
COURSE TIME LIMIT
Participants must maintain a 15:00 mile pace and complete the race in 1 hour 30 minutes. Your official time does not begin until you cross the start line.
START WAVE PLACEMENT
Participants will be assigned to an appropriate start wave based on the projected finishing time submitted on their entry form.
PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
Public transportation is highly recommended. Please visit the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) website at www.transitchicago.com or the Metra website at www.metrarail.com to determine the best route of travel via public transportation.
Limited paid parking is available at the following locations:
Grant Park North Garage – 25 N Michigan Avenue
Grant Park South Garage – 325 S Michigan Avenue
Millennium Park Garage – 5 S Columbus Drive

The Crosstown Classic 10K will take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather or other conditions that may affect the safety and health of participants, race officials reserve the right to delay, postpone, or cancel the race. All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
